Are you a PhD candidate researching activism and gender in transatlantic contexts?

Join the 2025 Doctoral Colloquium “The Gender of Activism: Networks, Circulation, and Solidarity in the Transatlantic Space,” an interdisciplinary program fostering dialogue, methodological reflection, and collaboration among early-career researchers. Organized by leading institutions, this hybrid seminar runs from March to December 2025, combining in-person sessions at Georgetown University (Washington, D.C.) with virtual participation for those outside the DMV area or abroad.

Key themes include transatlantic activist networks, the circulation of ideas, solidarity in action, and methodological challenges in studying activism across borders. Open to PhD students worldwide, the program particularly encourages applications from underrepresented and marginalized communities. Sessions will be conducted in English.
